Larry and Karen Orton are proud owners of Orton’s House Seasonings based in Edmond, OK. Larry is originally from Portsmouth, VA and Karen is originally from Guthrie, OK. The two became one in 2011. In the beginning of the marriage, Larry was the primary cook and always reached for certain spices to bring flavor to family meals. At one point he decided to put all the spices in one bottle. He wrote Orton’s Seasonings on the bottle and that became the family seasoning. It wasn’t until 2020 someone said the seasoning was so good it needed to be bottled and sold to consumers. So that is exactly what we did. Since then, what is now known as Orton’s House Seasonings is a household name in 50 states, 4 countries, 40+ stores, 2 restaurants, and several food trucks and caterers. This blend of spices pairs well with hamburgers, ribs, chicken, steak, turkey, seafood, all vegetables, anything potato, eggs, salads, popcorn…Everything. It’s magic in a bottle and its flavor shakin’ good. Everyone should have a bottle in their home. Make sure you are one!
