It was an extremely difficult time for Andrew and his family as he underwent nearly five years of testing and treatment to finally beat cancer. He was compelled to share his story by writing "Leon the Brave Little Lion" to bring hope and inspiration to other people struggling with similar life-threatening illnesses. The book can be purchased for personal use or can be donated to OU Children's Hospital and OK Kid's Corral as well as other medical facilities across the country where they are distributed to patients there dealing with cancer.
